National Love Your Pet Day

It's late, but I just found out that it is National Love Your Pet Day! I feel bad, because I really haven't been home all day. My little pug, Milo, spent the day with my husband, so he wasn't alone, but if I'd known it was a special day, I would have made a special effort. I'll just have to do it tomorrow.

He needs a bath, so I'll try to get that done and maybe I'll make him some homemade dog treats. I'll be sure to make his day nice and relaxing and give him lots of pampering. It's not an easy task for someone chasing a 1 year old, but I'm sure I can do something to brighten his day.

There's still some time today, too. I'm going to snuggle with Milo on the couch for now. Take a little time and Love Your Pet today!
